A LITTLE ABOUT OUR STORY
{from Andrea's perspective}
We met in December 2019 via a dating app - our first date consisted of Justin driving 2 hours to meet me in Harrisonburg for dinner (on a work night, of all days!) That evening flew by, and before we knew it the evening was wrapping up. We would then say the first of many goodbyes, and begin the first of MANY trips back and forth from Harrisonburg and Northern Virginia.
Since that first chilly December evening spent together, we've navigated quite a few new life-altering moments - a long-distance relationship, a global pandemic, graduations, new jobs, self-employment, vacations, travels, moves, friendships, work, family matters - it was all there for us to tackle together.
Since being together with Justin, I've realized the beauty (and agitation) of partnership is that it lends a microscope to your biggest flaws. Our relationship over the last 4 years has been a quick-start guide to self-development. And because of that, I've gotten a glimpse of the beauty of what marriage could be, the reverence of partnership, and the feeling of 'home' in not a place, but a person.
Our relationships seems to be a great mix of humor and seriousness - I have never felt like someone understands me so well, and he helps me with details when I'm really just not a details person.
